Hello everyone, I've been going into the chestnut for a good 10 years! The food is always of a high standard and the prices are definitely more than fair. For me, the Kastanie is more than just an ordinary restaurant;) clearly 5 stars. Best regards to Pippo and his family

I went to the chestnut for lunch today after hearing about it at antenne düsseldorf. I shared a fish soup with my girlfriend for starter. For the main course we had spaghetti with calamari with garlic in tomato sauce and a vegetarian vegetable curry. Incredible! Everything fresh and incredibly delicious. The fish soup was the best I've ever eaten! In addition, nice and cozy ambience. We will definitely be back!

The steak was solid, the fries ok, but the side salad was a bad joke! The service was excellent, the prices ok! But if you want to eat a good steak, you'd better go to a steak house! However, the lamb curry was delicious and flavorful!

Have been there several times now, the food was always good and the prices ok. The starters were especially good. The staff was very friendly and quick. We'll be back.

The quality of the food has improved. Salad with tandoori chicken and potato chips (fried potato slices) is a recommendation, but at € 16.50 it is too expensive. The schnitzels are also good and big, the sauce tastes like it is from the bottle, unfortunately also priced at 15 €. In this respect, there is a point deduction

I was allowed to eat the wild boar goulash here; it was a poem! I highly recommend it! The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there was no Fassbrause or something similar, but maybe next time ?

Too long waiting times! It took about 20 minutes to get an order. Until the unfortunately very old was brought to the place, another 10 minutes passed. The service makes a very unstructured impression. The food should also be avoided here, too much use of finished products and too greasy prepared.
